✦ Frequently Asked Questions
We're Here to Help
Where can I find travel and accommodation planning assistance?

We're so lucky to have Kaley McLoughlin, Benjamin's cousin and a professional travel agent at The Extraordinary Traveler, offering free flight and accommodation planning assistance to all our guests. She knows Maui well and would love to help you put together the perfect trip around the wedding weekend.

Is there parking at the venue?

Guests will not be able to park at the venue. We will be arranging shuttle service to transport guests to and from the venue from their accommodations. More details on shuttle pick-up times and locations will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Are children welcome?

The weekend's events are designed for our invited adult guests only. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a true grown-up getaway in Maui!

What should I wear?

Each event has its own dress code:

Welcome Drinks — Tropical Cocktail
Think sundresses, linen trousers, flowy separates, and open-collar shirts. Smart-casual with a relaxed island feel. Leave the flip-flops at home but there's no need to go all out.

Ceremony & Reception — Tropical Formal
Suits in any color (linen and lighter fabrics are encouraged given the warm weather), and maxi dresses. We actively encourage bright colors, pastels, and bold patterns — this is Maui, after all! Please leave white, cream, and ivory to the bride.

What if I'm unable to attend?

We completely understand that traveling to Maui is a significant commitment, and we are so grateful for every guest who is able to make the journey. If you're unable to join us in Hawaii, please know you will be deeply missed — but not forgotten! All of our loved ones are warmly invited to celebrate with us at a larger reception we will be hosting in Michigan in October 2027. More details on that event will be shared soon.

Do you have a gift registry?

We do not have a registry and are not expecting gifts. We are already so deeply grateful to everyone who is making the trip to Maui to celebrate with us — your presence truly is the greatest gift we could ask for. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

What is the weather like in September?

September is one of the best months to visit Maui. Haiku and the North Shore enjoy warm, sunny days with temperatures typically in the low-to-mid 80s°F, and September is statistically one of the driest months of the year. Evenings can be slightly cooler with a gentle breeze — perfect for an outdoor ceremony and reception under the stars. We'd recommend light, breathable fabrics for the weekend.
